Life Happens!
We all know that crazy, crappy, unexpected stuff happens in life, but we often prefer to believe that it will happen to someone else. Well, some of that “Crap in Life” (I try to keep this bog G-Rated) has unexpectedly happened to me.
You see, at the tender age of only 43, I’ve found out why I’ve had so much pain in my right hip. In a word, it’s dead! (ok, so that was more than one word). The Doctor showed me the MRI pictures of both my hips and compared my right hip to my left hip. It was very obvious even to an untrained eye, namely mine, that my hip is really messed up! The Doctor proved to me that I need a “Total Hip Replacement”. Um, that means surgery, big surgery!
Never Give Up!
Never Giving Up is my main point here so I’ll try not to go into too much detail because I don’t want to bore you. I must admit however, that this has nearly stopped most of my internet activities in their tracks, but I’ll Never Give Up! They’ll Never Take Me Alive!!! Oops sorry, got carried away there in having a little fun 
Anyway, this is one of the reasons why I haven’t posted to this blog lately, there are other reasons as well but those I will talk about in a different “Series” of blog posts because it WILL be interesting to those who want to know the strange and unusual pitfalls to expect when creating and maintaining a blog and or a blogging business as I have personally experienced it. This is for my fans! (all two of you!). Hey! Have fun whenever you can, and however you can! COOL?

P.S. This is me allowing you to watch me in a Real Life, and in a Real Time Situation in which I must practice what I preach when I say “Stay Boosted“, even in the face of adversity. Staying Boosted does not mean everything is always peachy, rather, that one can almost always make situations at least somewhat better than what they may otherwise be. Get it? Wow, we could be twins, sorta.
A torn shoulder led to a burned out hip (counter balance – in all things, you know) and the downturn in the economy combined with downtime for surgery and PT has also stirred unrest in my soul and a desire to “never give up” and kick some mental ass, so your post is a great example of why we should all keep going, even when our hips give out. Luckily, we live in a time when such surgeries are much improved and easy to do.
I hate the old adage of “when a door closes…” but it’s true that we actually learn more from adversity and hardship than we do from the easy path. I call it putting fertilizer in your garden. How else can flowers bloom?

Yes Lorelle, I made the mistake (well, you know what I mean) of asking for Strength, Courage and Wisdom. My mistake was thinking I would simply be “Zapped” with these traits. It doesn’t work that way does it?
Strength, Courage and Wisdom are “Learned” through real life experiences! Almost sorry I asked for these things lol!
This was just a long-winded way for me to say that I agree with your comment! It’s good to meet other people who “Get It”.
