(Tiffany Dow) Best Free Video Player for ADHD [VIDEO]

Another Video For Tiffany Dow

This is one of the video’s that I made for Tiffany Dow called “Best Free Video Player” especially for ADHD / ADD’ers. This is the one that I intended to create immediately after the first video I made about the free video download helper software (ummm, wait… did I say that right?)… Where was I? Oh Yeah, but I got distracted by van repairs… sorry it took so long Tiffany!

A Free Video Player for YOU and Tiffany too

One of the Best Free Video Players, for watching video’s that you’ve downloaded from other websites including YouTube is called “VLC Media Player“. What’s so cool about this free software is that you can speed-up the playback of the video you want to watch. This is a major helper-outer for 2 reasons.

Playing Your Video Faster Saves Time

1: Most people understand that this is good for watching long training video’s because you can watch a 30 minute video in 20 minutes or even in 15 minutes, thus saving you lots of time and boredom. Did I say “boredom”? Yes! Which brings me to reason number two.

A Faster Video For Attention Deficit

2: There are a lot more people out there with Adult ADD or ADHD than you might think. For the ADD’er, a slow moving video presentation can get boring even on an interesting subject. The A.D.D. Brain moves so quickly that it is difficult to stay focused on one thing unless it is captivatingly interesting.

Also, especially in the case of training video’s, if they move too slowly it can be excruciating, if not darn near impossible, to have to sit and watch a video that proceeds too slowly! (YIKES! Yawn!) BUT!…

Since you can speed the video up using VLC Media Player, you are able to adjust the speed to your liking. This is like, Totally AWESOME Dudes and Dudettes! Try it for your self and see if you like it and how much time it saves you.

Hey, I have NO affiliation with VLC Media Player. I make NO money by telling you all this stuff. I just like to do things once in a while that actually help people out… not because I’m such a nice guy or anything like that. Heck No! In fact, I’m, umm… ummm… wait, let me think for a minute… hmmm.

Ok, well, maybe it is because I’m just a nice guy after all. YAY! :P

That’s all for now. If this video helped you out in any way, please come back and tell me in the comments section, Cool?

Stay Boosted!

Gary.

  1. Gary, loved your video and will have to thank Tiffany for yet another great recommendation. But then, after all, you’re from TN too…what’s not to love? Enjoyed your sense of humor, and will go check out that *awesome* looking blog!

    Best to you!

    Honey

    • @Honey Wesley … So you’re from TN too!?

I can’t thank you enough for stopping by and commenting here on my Blog!
Tiffany is definitely top-notch! So I made these video’s for her as a “Thanks You” to her (did I say that right?)…

Sometimes I “do” act silly… it runs in the family… and I often can’t help myself :P

Oh one more thing…. That weird dude that owns “That Awesome Blog” is finally beginning to roll-out some cool helpful stuff so yeah, make sure you check it out from time to time and spread the word! Cool? ;)

      Glad to be of service!

totally true.. VLC rocks… and its FREE… and it plays damned near ANY format… okay, it sucks at WMV LOL

    • Hi Hagar, thanks for stopping by! Mucho Kuddo’s (oops, sorry, there I go again…)

I’m not sure if I’ve had any trouble playing WMV using VLC Media Player….

I also have WMV Flip for Mac (or something like that), but thanks for the heads-up on the WMV thing! I’ll definitely pay special attention to that, and if I see a problem and find a solution, I just might make a video on that too. :)

      Thanks for the tip!

      Gary.

  3. Thanks, Gary!

You’re just a nice guy… I have been using VLC
and didn’t know any of those tricks you told us.

Deiss’ videos are notorously long with no
controls. Guess what I’ll do with them now.

    Great tip!

  4. Thanks for this, Gary! Will look at VLC and definitely will look at your blog as well. You made it fun to learn something new!

    Lori

    • Lori, buckets and buckets of “You Are Welcome” coming at-chya!

You said… “You made it fun to learn something new!” …

Well, that’s one of the best compliments I could ever ask for! Having fun while learning is one of my favorite pass-times ;)

      Thanks for commenting Lori!

      Gary.

  5. Doiron says:

VLC is a great player but I’d also like to suggest GOM Player as a worthy option. There are many easy to use controls including the ability to speed up play and change audio and video settings – brightness, contrast, saturation, equalizer, gain control, etc.

I have several players but I tend to gravitate towards GOM these days.

    • @Doiron

Thanks for sharing GOM Player, I was not aware of that one. I went to take a look at it and it looks real good, especially for the “Techie Inclined”. The only bad thing is that it only works on a Windows computer and not Macintosh.

Then again, that’s not a bad thing for a windows user, right?

      Thanks again Doiron!

      Gary.

Two things I truly liked in this article, One is VLC player (as it can play almost all formats I can think of) and another is your AWESOME sense of humor. I couldn’t take my eyes off your article. Actually, I was enjoying it and meanwhile learning something new. Thanks Gary for your awesome article.
