Appreciating Life While Dealing With Death
Dealing with Death: I found out this morning that my maternal Grandmother died a few hours ago (appprox. 9 am Thursday 8/13/09). She was about 92 I think. My Grandmother, who we all called “Granny”, was a very strong and Vibrant lady up until her last 2 or 3 years of life! This is NOT just one of those “Think of something nice to say” kind of things. I really mean it! Any and all of my family members who knew her, know that what I’m saying here is NO exaggeration.
Appreciating Life: I would like to write, and tell you here in this blog post all the really cool stuff (and there is a lot!) about my Granny. As you can imagine though, this is still fresh news to me at the time that I write this post, so I’m a little less than “Sharp Enough” to write it well, and properly. I will likely update this post later, and tell ALL the “Cool Stuff” there is (or was) about my Granny (she really was Awesome!). There is a LOT of cool stuff to tell! But for now, let’s just consider this a first glance at the news. More later.
Trying to Stay Boosted, Gary. aka- GanderCo (I’ll explain “GanderCo” later).
P.S. Please keep in mind that I found myself having a little bit of difficulty writing even this little bit, so if it seems a little weird or incomplete, please forgive me. Yes it’s true that it was her time to go, and that she lived a complete, full and Healthy life, and for this I am very thankful for her! We all know that we are gong to die someday, and I can honestly say that when it is my time to go, I hope I can go much the same way as my Granny did. That reminds me: My Grandfather (her husband) also lived and died much the same as her, so maybe I should write about him too. This is all for now. (this may be continued).
Sorry to hear about your Granny Gary
My grandparents all lived long lives and I miss them dearly still. Do her proud by staying boosted – she wouldn’t want you to be grieving too long for her.

Gary,
Really sorry to hear about your grandmother. I sincerely hope you and your family are okay. Be well, and I am very impressed at what you’ve accomplished so far. One step at a time.
